Art, culture and untouched design.
Handcrafted for the curious storyteller, a dining table etched by the individual maker. Subtly marked and intentionally blemished, a rebellion against the masses that’s cut from a different kind of cloth – or century-old timber.
Made from 50-year-old teak, each plank is kiln-dried for seven days, then cooled for two. Planks are assembled, manually sanded, and edges rounded to expose the natural grain. The base has solid timber legs, machine-cut and fixed to a central column. Both tabletop and base are finished with semi-lustrous black lacquer for a quietly luxurious feel. Weighing over 100kgs, this piece is handcrafted over ten weeks by one woodworker, forming a sturdy dining focal point. Pair with the Primitive Chair.
