Poised between sculpture and function, the piece holds a quiet presence on the wall – defined by its irregular form and textured surface.
Shaped through a hand-sculpted resin mould, layers of polymer plaster are applied and worked across the surface. Each coat is brushed and massaged by hand, allowing subtle variations to emerge through the process.
A final light sanding softens the texture while retaining its depth, resulting in an off-white finish marked by the gestures of the maker.
