This sculptural seat marries hand-moulded concrete with aged timber. Made for continuing the story within the home, inviting community and connecting with craft as tales pass from piece to person.
A piece of two parts. Concrete is hand-pressed and hand-sculpted to a lightly textured, monolithic surface – drying to a off-white complexion that offsets the timber seat. Aged teak is kiln-dried for ten days, sanded to expose its grain, and stained to seal unique patterns. The two are brought together to form a single, functional and striking unit.
