Equally monolithic and futuristic, a statement lamp that sidesteps the ‘now’. Soft curves fuse with a textured surface, creating an artful, idiosyncratic piece for the bedside and the living area. Where old stories meet the new.
To create the bold form, a resin mould is layered with a polymer plaster finish. Irregular brush strokes mark the piece as the plaster is applied, adding texture to all exposed surfaces, before it is cured by fan-drying. This process is repeated up to three times to create depth, strengthen the finish and obtain the stark off-white colouring.
