Proportion and function.
Balancing scale and restraint, the mirror holds a quiet presence – its frame shaped by hand to introduce depth and variation across the surface.
Formed from a sculpted resin mould, layers of polymer plaster are applied and worked with irregular brushstrokes. Each coat builds texture, allowing subtle variations to emerge across the form.
The off-white finish remains visible on all sides, revealing the material and process. Cured and layered through repeated applications, the surface gains both depth and durability while retaining the marks of its making.
