From the beginning, TheEND has been about creating spaces that inspire connection through considered design. Spaces that bring together objects, people and ideas.
This winter marks the beginning of our cultural programme - an ongoing series of exhibitions, conversations and creative collaborations exploring the relationship between art, design and the way we live.
Presented in partnership with The Fin Collection, In Common is the inaugural exhibition of the programme. Bringing together Amy Finlayson, Antonia Leigh, Heidi Middleton, Lucinda Jones, Tanya Linney and Zanita Whittington, the exhibition celebrates a collective of contemporary Australian artists and creative voices whose practices span art, fashion, photography and creative direction.
Known for their contributions to Australia's creative industries, each artist has developed a distinctive artistic practice. Brought together for the first time, In Common reveals the quieter creative language they share.
Presented throughout TheEND's Paddington showroom, the exhibition transforms the space into a living gallery where contemporary art and collectible design coexist - inviting visitors to experience art within the context of the home.
Alongside the exhibition, a programme of artist talks and conversations will offer an opportunity to engage with the ideas, processes and practices behind each body of work.
More than an exhibition, In Common marks the beginning of an ongoing conversation at TheEND - one that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, community and considered living.
